Azerbaijan has maintained its position in the latest UEFA country coefficient rankings, remaining 26th with a coefficient of 21.187, behind 25th-placed Slovenia, which has a coefficient of 22.468.


England continues to top the UEFA rankings with a coefficient of 101.852, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.


The update follows defeats for two Azerbaijani clubs in European competition on August 6.


One of the clubs, Karabagh, lost 1-0 to Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, while Sabah suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Denmark's Aarhus in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.
