Israeli police said on Tuesday, September 1, that they had detained eight people suspected of involvement in arson attacks and other incidents in the southern part of the Hebron Hills in the occupied West Bank.
According to police, the suspects are residents of the West Bank and central Israel, aged between 16 and 20.
Authorities also seized three vehicles during the operation that were allegedly used in the offences, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The detentions come after clashes were reported in recent days between Jewish settlers and Palestinians in several areas of the West Bank.
