A Russian drone struck a six-story residential building in Kyiv on Wednesday, September 2, partially damaging the structure, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.


A three-story building also caught fire, while emergency responders were dispatched to the scene. Four people were reported injured.


Local Telegram channels also reported that a building belonging to one of Kyiv’s universities was hit in the centre of the Ukrainian capital. The university involved has not yet been identified.


The reports are based on initial information, and the full extent of the damage remains unclear.
