Armenia has no plans to introduce visa requirements for Russian citizens, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, dismissing speculation over possible restrictions on entry from Russia.

Pashinyan said the Armenian government had not even considered such measures and stressed that Russian visitors continue to be welcomed in the country, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“We are very pleased to welcome tourists arriving from Russia, and we see that they have now become very active participants in promoting Armenia’s tourism advantages,” Pashinyan said.
