BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. An event dedicated
to Youm-e-Istehsal ("The Day of Exploitation") is being held at the
Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan in solidarity with the people of
Jammu and Kashmir, Trend's correspondent reports from the event.
The event is attended by representatives of the diplomatic
corps, government institutions, academic circles, civil society and
media organizations.
The meeting features discussions on the situation in Jammu and
Kashmir, currently under Indian administration, as well as
expressions of solidarity with its residents.
Participants emphasize the importance of promoting peace,
justice and respect for international law, as well as the need for
a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir issue in accordance
with relevant international resolutions.
The program also includes an exchange of views on regional
peace, stability and the humanitarian agenda, as well as
discussions on the role of dialogue and international cooperation
in addressing existing challenges.
