Kapital Bank, the country's first bank, has successfully
completed the placement of its AZN 50 million bond
issue on the Baku Stock Exchange on 5 August
2026.
The bond issue attracted strong interest from both individual
and corporate investors. Total demand during the subscription
period was nearly three times the size of the offering.
In total, more than 330 investors submitted
subscription orders exceeding AZN 146 million.
Individual investors accounted for subscription orders totaling
more than AZN 57 million, with 314 retail
investors participating in the offering. Of these,
246 investors completed the subscription process
entirely digitally through the Birbank Invest application.
Investors were able to subscribe to the bonds either through the
Birbank Invest application or at Kapital Bank/Birbank branches. The
Birbank Invest platform enables users to carry out investment
transactions in both local and international financial markets
entirely through digital channels.
The Kapital Bank bonds have a one-year maturity
and offer an annual yield of 10%, with interest
payments made on a monthly basis. PASHA Capital Investment Company
OJSC acted as the underwriter for the issue.
Kapital Bank's bonds represent not only a reliable and
