BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. The strategic
partnership is further strengthened between Ukraine and
Azerbaijan.
This was announced in the post of the Ukrainian Foreign
Minister Andrii Sybiha on X social network following his meeting
with Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Kyiv.
Sybiha noted that the meeting discussed key issues on the
bilateral and international agenda, including regional security,
efforts to achieve a lasting peace, economic and energy
cooperation, as well as Azerbaijan’s important contribution to
Ukraine’s recovery.
According to the minister, today’s meeting marks another
important step in further strengthening the strategic partnership
between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
"Our dialogue remains active and substantive, driven by regular
high-level contacts, practical cooperation, and a shared commitment
to expanding our bilateral agenda," the post pointed out.
"I thanked Azerbaijan for its humanitarian assistance since the
first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion, particularly in
supporting Ukraine’s energy resilience, restoring critical
infrastructure, and contributing to reconstruction efforts," the
post said.
He emphasized that Ukraine highly values Azerbaijan’s consistent
support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity and remains
equally committed to supporting the sovereignty and territorial
integrity of Azerbaijan.
"I am confident that our friendship, mutual trust, and strategic
partnership will continue to grow for the benefit of our countries
and peoples," the post added.
