Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has congratulated Jamaica on its national holiday.
Sharing a post on X, the ministry said: “Happy Independence Day to the people and the Government of Jamaica! Best wishes on your Independence Day, Jamaica!”
Earlier, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also conveyed a message of congratulations to Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness and the Jamaican people on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In his letter, President Aliyev extended warm greetings on behalf of himself and the Azerbaijani people, expressing sincere wishes for continued prosperity and peace for the Caribbean nation.
President Aliyev noted the significance of 2025 as it marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Jamaica. He voiced optimism about the future of bilateral ties.
