BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. The first
competition day of the European Judo Cup among juniors has
concluded in Skopje.
Only one Azerbaijani judoka won a medal on the opening day.
Nilgün Rzayeva, competing in the up to 63 kg weight category,
defeated Romania’s Maya Adamachi in the bronze-medal bout to claim
third place.
Another 10 Azerbaijani judokas will take to the tatami on the
second day of the competition.
