BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Kazakhstan has
launched the upgraded version of the eGov 3.0 portal, developed on
the unified QazTech platform, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan
Zhaslan Madiyev said at a government meeting.
This was reflected in the statement published by the government
of Kazakhstan.
The updated portal has optimized the delivery of government
services, removed unnecessary requirements and reduced the burden
on digital infrastructure.
"The eGov portal was operating at the limit of its technological
capabilities. Therefore, a modern eGov 3.0 portal developed on the
QazTech platform was launched recently. Services are being
simplified as much as possible and becoming more convenient for
users. Unnecessary requirements and steps are being removed. Some
of the most popular services are already available in the new
format," Madiyev said.
The Deputy Prime Minister also announced plans to significantly
expand the functionality of the eGov GPT intelligent digital
assistant, which was launched in April 2026.
The service allows citizens to access government services by
describing their life situation in text format, without having to
independently search for applications or required documents.
"Today, 50 of the most popular services are already available
through eGov GPT, accounting for around 30% of the total volume of
citizen requests. By the end of the year, we plan to increase this
figure to 70%. Citizens have already used eGov GPT more than
150,000 times. eGov GPT should become a universal AI assistant for
all aspects of interaction between the state and citizens," Madiyev
said.
According to him, the further development of e-government and
the introduction of artificial intelligence solutions are
contributing to Kazakhstan’s position in global digital development
rankings. The country currently ranks 24th in the UN E-Government
Development Index.
