BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. Leadership of the
Ministry of Defense visited the military units of the Combined Arms
Army (CAA) and inspected the organization of service and combat
activities, as well as the social and living conditions provided
for military personnel.


This was reported by the press service of the Azerbaijani
Ministry of Defense.


According to the report, discussions were held with personnel
serving at combat positions, and their concerns were addressed.


It was emphasized that, owing to the attention and care of the
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief
of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, all necessary infrastructure has
been established in the military units to ensure improved social
and living conditions for personnel. All necessary measures have
been implemented to maintain the combat capability of the military
units at a high level and to ensure the continuous and safe
organization of combat duty.


It was noted that resilient engineering fortification structures
have been constructed at the combat positions of the military units
to withstand artillery strikes and threats posed by unmanned aerial
vehicles.


The Ministry's leadership was subsequently briefed at the
training range on the arrangements enabling training and exercises
envisaged under the combat training plans of the units to be
conducted in conditions simulating a real combat environment.


In conclusion, Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir
Hasanov issued relevant instructions to officials regarding the
further improvement of the social and living conditions of
personnel, increasing the intensity of combat training activities,
and enhancing the training of personnel in the effective employment
of weapons and military equipment.
