BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 14. Turkmenistan
discussed potential interest in petroleum products produced at the
Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex with an Oman-registered
company.
This was reflected in a press release published by Turkmen
Embassy to Saudi Arabia following a meeting between Turkmenistan’s
Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Oman Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and Rasul
Guliaev, Chairman and Executive Director of DUX Middle East (FZC)
LLC.
According to the embassy, Guliaev briefed Ayazov on the
company’s activities and expressed interest in petroleum products
produced at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex.
“During the meeting, Rasul Guliaev briefed the Ambassador on the
activities of the company and expressed interest in petroleum
products produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries,”
the embassy said.
Ayazov also informed Guliaev that the 31st International
Conference and Exhibition “Turkmenistan’s Oil and Gas - OGT 2026”
will be held in Ashgabat on October 21–23, 2026, and invited him to
participate.
The Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex (TOPC) is Turkmenistan's
largest oil refinery, processing crude oil and gas condensate into
high-quality petroleum and petrochemical products. It is pivotal to
the nation's economy, contributing significantly to industrial
output and export revenue.
TOPC produces a variety of products, including gasoline, diesel,
kerosene, and polypropylene, and exports to international markets
in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The complex undergoes continual modernization to enhance
capacity and technological integration, operating under the
Turkmennebit State Concern, making it essential for both domestic
use and global trade.
