The United States and Iran have agreed to extend a 60-day ceasefire, Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya reports on August 17, citing sources.
“Information has been received that there is agreement to extend the 60-day ceasefire between Iran and the United States,” the sources told the broadcaster.
They added that the period stipulated in a memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran last June expires on August 17.
