Moscow’s Savyolovsky District Court has fined rapper Alisher Morgenshtern 40,000 roubles ($480) for violating the rules governing the activities of foreign agents, the Moscow City Court’s press service told Russian media.


The court on August 17 found Morgenshtern, who is listed as a foreign agent in Russia, guilty of an administrative offence under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of Russia’s Code of Administrative Offences.


The provision concerns violations of the procedure governing the activities of foreign agents.
