BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Kyrgyzstan
continues to improve road infrastructure in the Osh region.
The information was announced by Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of
Transport and Communications.
"Road infrastructure improvement works are continuing in
Kyrgyzstan's Osh region," the statement said.
According to the ministry, asphalt concrete pavement is planned
for a nine-kilometer section of the Nookat–Aravan–Tobo-Korgon road
in the Aravan district under the 2026 road construction plan.
At present, specialists from Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 44
are laying the first layer of asphalt concrete on the road.
Construction works are being carried out using specialized
road-building equipment and are progressing in line with the
approved schedule.
The ministry noted that once completed, the upgraded road will
improve traffic safety and convenience, while providing local
residents with higher-quality transport infrastructure.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications added that road
rehabilitation and modernization projects are continuing across the
country in accordance with the approved plan.
According to Trend's analysis, the ongoing modernization of the
Nookat–Aravan–Tobo-Korgon road reflects Kyrgyzstan's continued
efforts to improve regional transport infrastructure and enhance
connectivity between communities. Upgrading key road sections is
expected to facilitate safer and more efficient travel while

The project forms part of the government's broader program to
rehabilitate the national road network. Improved road conditions
