Azerbaijan’s potato exports reach 77,400 tonnes in seven months

Azerbaijan exported 77,400 tonnes of potatoes worth $29.7 million in January-July 2026, according to the State Customs Committee.

The data from the committee showed this represents an increase of 6,600 tonnes (9.2%) in volume and $1.6 million (5.5%) in value compared with the same period last year, Caliber.Az reports.

During the reporting period, potato export revenues accounted for a negligible share of Azerbaijan’s total export revenues.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover reached $29.216 billion during the period, up 1.3% year on year.

Exports accounted for $19.336 billion, while imports totaled $9.881 billion.
