TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, August 23. Speaking
during a joint press statement with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat
Mirziyoyev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized the
special role of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in attracting
investments to Garabagh, Trend's special correspondent reports.
“I would like once again to highlight the special role of
President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev in attracting investments
to Garabagh. The first assistance was provided by Uzbekistan: the
construction of a 960-seat school in Fuzuli named after Mirzo
Ulugbek and investment in a garment production facility in
Khankendi. The first major industrial enterprise was also
associated with Uzbekistan,” the head of state emphasized.
