Kazakhstan plans to increase annual jet fuel production to 1.5 million tons by 2031, with output expected to reach a record 825,000 tons by the end of 2026, the Ministry of Energy reports.

The country initially planned to produce 750,000 tons of jet fuel this year, but output had already reached 591,000 tons in the first eight months.

The projected 2026 figure would surpass the 726,000 tons produced in 2025 and set a new annual production record.
