Hunter Biden, the son of former US President Joe Biden, said he may enter the 2028 presidential race, speaking in an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis.

“If I get your [Catsimatidis’] endorsement, I may have to [run for president]. The things I care most about is the 50 million Americans that are still suffering with their addictions,” the New York Post quoted him as saying, citing a recording of the conversation obtained by the outlet.

Hunter Biden stressed that he has not used drugs or alcohol for more than seven and a half years. At the same time, he said he still has not committed “to running for president” and noted that the Democratic Party has an “incredible bench” of potential candidates for the position.
