US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law, businessman Jared Kushner, have left Poland after a visit to Kyiv, departing from Rzeszów International Airport
“The special flight took off at 08:04,” an airport source told TASS.
The aircraft arrived in Rzeszów from Moscow on the night of September 5 after Witkoff and Kushner met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The two US envoys then travelled by train from Poland to Kyiv and returned to Rzeszów by the same route.
A TASS source within the European Union’s air traffic control services said the negotiators used a state-owned aircraft for the first time during their visits to Russia, rather than a business jet.
The flight to Moscow and subsequently to Rzeszów was carried out using a Boeing C-32A, an aircraft designated for transporting senior US government officials, including heads of state.
