BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 20. Uzbekistan-based
cargo airline My Freighter has received approval to operate cargo
flights to the United Kingdom after being designated an ACC3
carrier by the UK Department for Transport, the company said on
October 14.

This was reflected in the statement by My Freighter.

The designation confirms that the airline’s cargo security
procedures meet UK aviation security requirements for transporting
freight from airports outside the country.

ACC3 status is mandatory for airlines carrying cargo and mail
into the United Kingdom from third-country airports. It requires
carriers to ensure that shipments undergo security screening in
accordance with UK standards before departure.

The approval will allow My Freighter to offer cargo
transportation services between Tashkent and the UK, providing
shippers and freight forwarders in Uzbekistan and the wider region
with another route to the British market.

The company, part of Centrum Holding, said flights to the United
Kingdom would begin soon, with the schedule to be announced
separately.

My Freighter specializes in air cargo transportation and
operates from Uzbekistan as part of Centrum Holding’s logistics and
aviation business. The company has been developing its
international route network to connect markets in Asia and
Europe.

The ACC3 designation marks a regulatory step toward expanding
the airline’s operations in the UK market. The company has not yet
announced the launch date, flight frequency or destinations in the
United Kingdom.
