The US military has redirected 92 commercial vessels since resuming its maritime blockade of Iran’s ports in mid-July, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced.
“As of Sept. 6, U.S. forces have redirected 92 commercial vessels, disabled 3 and boarded 2 to ensure strict compliance,” CENTCOM said in a post on X.
The US resumed its maritime blockade of Iran on July 14. On September 3, the number of redirected vessels stood at 87.
