Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed expanding multifaceted cooperation and practical engagement with China at a meeting with a delegation led by Liu Haixing, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
The meeting took place in Tashkent on September 7. The sides reviewed ways to build on agreements reached at the highest level, highlighting growth in bilateral trade and investment, as well as an increase in the number of joint projects and enterprises involving leading Chinese companies, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Uzbek president’s press service.
Particular attention was paid to strengthening interparliamentary and interparty cooperation. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to adopt a joint “Road Map” to expand cooperation in these areas.
