Azerbaijan’s new ambassador to Riga, Narmina Mustafayeva, presented her credentials to Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Latvian president’s press service.
Earlier, Mustafayeva presented copies of her credentials to Zane Ventere, acting head of the State Protocol Division at Latvia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On August 12, 2026, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev appointed Mustafayeva as the country’s new ambassador to Latvia.
Mustafayeva previously served as Azerbaijan’s consul general in Istanbul from 2020 to 2026.
